Placing My Order

Drove up to Harrogate to the MNR workshop to place my order on Saturday. I was meet by Chris who introduce me to Marc and the rest of the team. Chris showed me around the workshop and explained the use of the various machines they use during the manufacturing process. I've opted for the MNR Vortx RT+ (that's the one with fully rose joints suspension) with a full race cage, as for the colour I've gone for the RAL 3020 red with black arches, dash and tunnel. Chris talked me through the various options while compiling a list of what was needed now and a another list which could be purchase later as my build progressed. We then a had lengthily conversation with Marc covering the technical aspect of using a the F20C motor, which was very helpful. All that remained was one more trip to the office and pay my deposit only to find out they don't accept credit cards. (Barclays cancelled my debit card on Friday due fraudulent use) So I guess my order is hold until my debit card arrives, hopefully this will be Tuesday or Wednesday this week.

I took my camera with to take some photos of the  workshop only to remember this half way home, will try to take some photos when I collect the kit.

I transferred the deposit on Monday and got confirmation from Chris today that they had received it, so they now they can order the materials to start building my chassis.
